Name: Kenzie Morse
Country of Residence: Cayman
I’m originally from Jupiter, Florida but moved to Grand Cayman at the age of 7 with my parents. From one beach to another! Growing up in such an amazing community and place of beauty is something I will always value and something I would like to share with my future family someday. Now at 23, I still find myself here. I have moved away briefly but always felt the call to come back to the islands.
I have done work through modeling since the age of 14 and really enjoyed the opportunity and places that it took me. I’ve spent quite a bit of time working in the tourism and hospitality industry as well. It is a great field to be in to meet new people from all different backgrounds and taught me a lot about myself as a person. Currently, I’m in my junior year of a Business and Marketing degree at Florida International University and hope to go on to open my own professional services firm one day. #bossbabe
What does a typical day look like for you?
I wake up at 8:00 am, usually starting with avocado toast and a tall glass of lemon water. Then, by 10:00 am I can usually be found lounging on Seven Mile Beach, safely working on my tan with my best friend. This is also the part of the day when I mentally prepare and take in what tasks I need to get done that day. By lunchtime it’s time to get down to business, generally course work, and whatever endeavors I have going on at that time. After work/study, I will try to get to the gym before the mad rush! I’ve always been very active and find this is a major key to mental health and wellness. At night I like to catch up with family and relax. Family is by far the most important element in my life.
What do you love to do when you are not working?
When I’m not working/studying I definitely will be going to the beach and binge-watching the occasional docuseries on Netflix. However, I also really enjoy going for coffee and spending time with friends.
How do you find a balance between working, staying fit, and life?
It’s really all about finding the most important things to you and making sure you prioritize your time for those first. Personally, the family will always come first, they are the backbone to everything that I am and do. Then physical fitness and health, beauty starts from within right? Feel good look good!
Your current go-to make-up products?
My current products would include almost all things MILK, I love how travel-friendly most of their products are, as well as being vegan and cruelty-free, my skin always looks great, and I noticed a big change in my acne breakouts when I made the switch.
Your current skin-care routine?
Currently, I like to use CeraVe. I struggled with skin texture for a long time. I started using their Renewing SA Cleanser and Face Lotion and it saved me! I’m hooked. The products are super gentle on my skin and leave no irritation. Their products over time help to replenish the ceramides of the skin that help to keep everything nice and moisturized throughout the day. Something important to me is sunscreen. I had Melanoma skin cancer when I was 16 so I make sure to apply sunscreen all over every day, I like to use SunBum, I love the brand and everything they are for. At night I also like to use a Vitamin E serum.
Four beauty products you can’t live without?
I’d definitely say I couldn’t go without my curling iron or straightener! I also believe that making sure your body has all the vitamins and minerals it needs is the key to beauty so I like to take Nature Made daily vitamins, hair, skin, and nails vitamins, as well as cranberry supplements.
