What to wear for family beach photos? Tips and Tricks.
I have had a few family photoshoots now and love looking back on family portraits, especially since losing my grandmother. I have enjoyed looking through the family vacation portraits especially. These images will be cherished forever and my daughter will be able to remember the precious times we spent together. A summer family vacation is a perfect excuse to get a professional photoshoot.
When planning a family photoshoot choosing what to wear can be a little daunting. It is important and less daunting if you plan your outfits ahead of time. Avoid stress! Once you all of the outfits and accessories, try them all on. Make sure you are not missing anything.
Select a color scheme that coordinates well together. Use hues that complement each other rather than everyone wearing the same color. I really love tan and white or light, blue, tan, and white color schemes for beach photoshoots.
Also, consider where the location will be. Whether you are on the beach or in a field you should choose colors that compliment each other. Avoid multiple patterns or large logos. Strong prints can overpower the photoshoot.
Finally, make sure all clothing is comfortable. Beach photoshoots, especially long ones can be uncomfortable. Make sure you are wearing something practical, and comfortable, especially for the little ones. Take advantage of light cotton, pretty sheers, and lace. Light and breezy outfits are also great for the summer heat. Also, avoid dark materials to avoid sweat patches; Or make sure you hire a photographer that is good at photoshop!
I particularly love beach photoshoots accessories. Personalized sun-hats are becoming extremely popular and look super cute. Scarves, belts, wraps, and necklaces are also a fun way to add different textures.
